It has come to our attention that media and websites across the globe are stating that Tier 4 students will not be able to work in the UK after August 2015. This is following a recent UK govermnment announcement regarding changes to immigration.

We would like to clarify this for all our students.

Telephone frauds and scams

Some criminals specifically target international students, telephoning them and pretending to be from a legitimate organisation (such as the UK Home Office, or even UKCISA). They demand money (calling it a “fine” for a non-existent immigration problem), and claim that if you do not pay them quickly, there will be damaging consequences (for example, deportation or cancelling your visa). You can help protect yourself by being aware of the common features of these fraudulent calls (“scams”).

DOATAP- Good news for Greek students

Confirmation has now been received that the Executive Board at DOATAP has granted the University of Glamorgan recognised institution status. Greek students applying to receive recognition of their University of Glamorgan qualifications will therefore be considered by DOATAP through their normal processes.
